New Releases.

After a prolonged period of inactivity there are two new releases during May.

Firstly, to coincide with the U.K. general election on May the 7th Mr. Francis E. Slingsby Esq. is releasing his debut single, a cover of The Move's (unreleased at the time) 1967 single 'Vote for Me'.

'The Slingsby Hornets' have also contributed a track to the double Cheap Trick tribute CD 'Never Surrender', released by Australian label Zero Hour Records on May the 22nd.

We were lucky enough to be able to record a version of one of my all time favourite Cheap Trick tunes, 'Clock Strikes Ten'.  The CD features a host of well known names from the world of power-pop, including the legendary Wyatt Frame!

Xmas 2014

At very short notice I've decided to release another Xmas single.

It will feature an original song, the aptly named 'Christmas Singles', as well as an acoustic and strings reworking of Wizzard's 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday'.

It will be released digitally via all the usual outlets next month, I will also be having a very limited number pressed on CD in a nicely printed full colour sleeve (a rough draft of the front cover of which is pictured).

The first ten people to message me can have a free copy of the CD mailed anywhere in the world.

Fourteen days to go Well there are two weeks remaining, and things seem to have stalled. Regardless of whether the kickstarter campaign reaches the massive £250 target I will be submitting the audio/artwork to the pressing plant this week. If the kickstarter campaign is not successful I will be releasing the single anyway (minus the exclusive content) and perhaps in a smaller quantity, and don't worry Aran the least you'll get is an mp3 of one of the songs you've suggested.
